Roots & branches
Some stories are inherited. Some are discovered. Tracing family history is where the line between history and mystery is wonderfully thin.
Tips & resources
Guides, tools, and hard-won lessons from tracing my own family’s history through colonial roots, westward journeys, and beyond.

Coming soonMy walk with God
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11
Faith is woven through everything here — the stories I write, the photographs I take, the ancestors I seek. This is a space to share what God places on my heart, one verse and one reflection at a time.

I write stories shaped by generational memory, Southern atmosphere, and the subtle, grounded mysteries that live in the spaces between what is seen and what is felt. My debut trilogy, The Awakening, follows the quiet pull of intuition, legacy, and the truths that rise when we finally begin to listen.
When I am not writing, I find my joy exploring my own family’s history through stories of the past and tracing genealogy, where the line between history and mystery is often thin. I truly believe some stories are inherited, some are discovered, and some awaken in their own time.
My photography is an extension of that same searching. I am drawn to the quiet dignity of older buildings, the unhurried beauty of nature, and the light that falls in places most people walk past without stopping. I believe God places wonder in the details for those willing to look — and my lens is simply my way of bearing witness to it.
