I grew up in the church, in a small mountain town in Pennsylvania where faith was part of everyday life. After high school, I joined the United States Coast Guard and was stationed at Yaquina Bay in Newport, Oregon. It was my first real step off the mountain and into the world. When my service ended, I followed my then husband to Alaska, where we spent eight years building a life and raising our four boys.

Alaska is where the unexpected began.

We lived in a haunted home, and instead of running from it, I leaned into the mystery. One experience led to another, and before long I found myself on a paranormal path. I read, I learned, and I practiced witchcraft, convinced the gifts I had since childhood finally made sense. And even through all of that, I still believed in God. I just thought He had given me abilities I was meant to explore.

Life kept moving. My boys grew. Marriages came and went. And eventually, it was just me again.

I moved back near the ocean and, still searching for answers, I visited a hypnotherapist. I walked through what I believed were past lives and kept the recordings, thinking they explained the pieces of myself I could not quite understand.

Then everything shifted.

A few years later, I landed in the hospital with dangerously high blood pressure. I recovered, thank God, but something in me woke up. It felt like God Himself was saying, "That's enough of your shenanigans." And I knew exactly what He meant.

The right Bible verses found me. I discovered the Book of Enoch, and suddenly the witchcraft, the gifts, the strange experiences all snapped into place. Even the past life hypnosis sessions made a different kind of sense.

One morning, I woke up with a clarity I had not felt in years. I decided to finish the things I had started. I decided to do things I had never done. And then it hit me. Those hypnosis recordings.

I was not going to follow them anymore. I was going to redeem them.

I took those fragments and strange little stories and turned them into something good. I created characters, built worlds, and shaped all of it into the story that became The Awakening Trilogy.

Now I keep growing. I capture moments with my camera. I write. I create. And every day, I thank God for grabbing me by the ear — the same way I used to do with my boys — and pulling me back onto the path I was meant to walk.
